Apple's Time Machine

Dear Apple,

Why is it that whenever I use the Time Machine program on my Mac, I am only able to see into the past and not into the future? I wonder if there's any way you could make it so that I'm able to warp my system a few days into the future. For my needs, this feature would be even more helpful that being able to move my system back to a point in time. I can see it now--my term paper and presentation files would appear on my desktop already completed, and I would save a bunch of time.

I encourage your company to consider this avenue for expansion on an existing product. I look forward to hearing from you.
